Roots, Rauch and Resilience Group Workshop hosted by Jewish Family and Child Service
Join the JF&CS for a 4-week group workshop starting on March 4, 2025. For students in Grades 6-8. Dinner will be served. Please register.
Chinese Arts and Literary Festival 2025
This festival aims to deepen participants’ understanding of Chinese cultural heritage, promote appreciation and respect for cultural diversity, and enhance social harmony. Register by March 5, 2025. LINK TO INFORMATION.

YRDSB Black History Month Event ** UPDATED**
Parent/caregiver Workshop supporting students of Chinese Heritage
The YRDSB Community Care Social Work has been dedicated to offer this parent/caregiver virtual event to build community, support mental health, and promote healing.
The session is offered for any parent/guardian of students of Chinese Heritage Parents, caregivers are invited to join this workshop and engage meaningful conversations that help students strive at school. Tips on ways that help strengthen family relationships and emotional wellbeing will be shared. This will be a free virtual event.

SELECTION 2025-2026 HOW
DO STUDENTS CHOOSE THEIR COURSES? Through
myBlueprint. Students
will need to log in. Instructions are in the google folder (see
below). Most students have logged in over the past few years, including
in elementary school. DEADLINES Course
Selection Opens: Thursday, February 13 (9:00am) Course
Selection Deadline: Friday, February 21 (3:20pm) ACCESS
THE GOOGLE DRIVE AND RESOURCES **The
most important source of information – students will find everything they

PARENT/GUARDIAN APPROVAL There is a 2-step approval process for course selection. 1. Students must enter a
parent/guardian email address into myBlueprint when they submit their
courses. Please ensure your student knows your email address. 2.
All guardians/parents must approve their students' course
selection by 3:20 on Friday, February 21. COURSE
SELECTION WORKSHOPS If
students would like some more in depth information about courses, please have
them drop into one of these sessions. All
workshops will take place in the library. FEB 13 - Period 1, 2 FEB 19 - Period 1, 3 REMINDER
- OPTING OUT OF THE TWO REQUIRED ONLINE LEARNING CREDITS What is
the Online Learning Graduation Requirement? All students
must earn at least two online learning credits as part of the requirements
for an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)unless they have opted
out or been exempted. How do
students opt out? 1.
Opt out through
myBlueprint during Course Selection time. 2.
Pick up a paper copy of
the opt out form from the guidance office, fill it in, and return it to the
guidance secretary, Ms. Han. GRADUATING
GRADE 12s If the graduating
student is not returning to Westmount, they need to go into myBlueprint and
select “Not Returning”. They are required
to declare “Not Returning” between February 13 and February 21. ADDITIONAL
